The Red Cross Innovation Celebration is the American Red Cross of Silicon Valley’s annual signature fundraising event that benefits local emergency preparedness, response and recovery efforts for Silicon Valley’s two million residents.

The gala paid tribute to two leaders of our community: internationally recognized cardiovascular surgeon, inventor, entrepreneur and mentor, Dr. Thomas J. Fogarty, founder of the Fogarty Institute for Innovation, who received the 2015 Red Cross Silicon Valley Humanitarian Innovation Award, and Co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of SanDisk Corporation, Sanjay Mehrotra, as the 2015 Red Cross Silicon Valley Philanthropic CEO of the Year.
